Hi, I’m Kristine — a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 12 years of experience supporting clients through all stages of life. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, and what I’ve learned is just how deeply our early experiences shape us. That understanding led me to focus my work on the perinatal period — supporting parents and families right from the start.
My background includes time in community mental health, a children’s advocacy center, leading parent support groups, and providing individual therapy for those navigating trauma, grief, depression, and anxiety. In my practice, my goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are — where you feel safe, supported, and understood as you move through life’s challenges.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Avila University in 2012, specializing in work with children and adolescents. I became a Registered Play Therapist in 2013 through KC Play and completed my EMDR training in 2015. As my passion for perinatal mental health grew, I completed Postpartum Support International’s Certificate in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders in 2021 and earned my Certificate in Perinatal Mental Health in 2022.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief that healing happens through connection — and that every person and family deserves compassion, understanding, and a safe place to begin their next chapter.
